Frequently Asked Questions

Why does Eastern Shield 365 include multiple services throughout the year?

Pest activity changes with the seasons. Ants and other insects may become more active during warmer months, while rodents and other pests may seek shelter as temperatures drop. Regular service allows us to adjust treatments throughout the year and help prevent pest problems before they become larger infestations.

How often will my property be serviced?

Your service schedule depends on the Eastern Shield 365 plan you choose. After your initial service, we’ll continue with regularly scheduled visits throughout the year based on your plan. Additional service for covered pests is also available between scheduled visits when needed.

Why might I still see pests after my first treatment?

Seeing some activity after treatment doesn’t always mean the service isn’t working. Certain treatments can cause pests to become more active or visible as they leave nesting and hiding areas. Pest activity should decrease as the treatment takes effect, but some infestations may require additional time or follow-up service.

What products does Eastern Pest Control use?

We select our treatment methods based on the pest, level of activity, location, season, and conditions around your property. Our technicians focus on targeted applications and use pest-control products according to their labeled directions.

What if pests come back between my scheduled services?

Eastern Shield 365 is designed to provide ongoing protection. If a pest covered by your plan returns between regularly scheduled visits, contact us and we’ll return to address the problem at no additional service charge.

Do I need to be home for every service?

Not necessarily. Many routine services focus on the exterior of your property and can often be completed without you being home. If interior treatment is needed, we’ll coordinate access with you.

What happens during a typical Eastern Shield 365 service?

Your technician will inspect for signs of pest activity and conditions that may contribute to pest problems. Based on what we find, we’ll treat appropriate areas of the property and provide recommendations that can help reduce future pest activity.

Is Eastern Shield 365 only for active pest problems?

No. Eastern Shield 365 is designed for both treatment and prevention. Even when you aren’t seeing pests, regular service helps us identify potential problems and maintain protection around your property throughout the year.
